Designers Consortium - Product Designing Club of NIT-Trichy
2015-2017

​Founded Designers Consortium in January'15, a product designing club that deals with designing and prototyping mechanisms, ideas, and products. Led a team of 36 design enthusiasts.
We come up with innovative ideas and bring them to life. Moreover, we take up design projects from various companies and industries across the country. We have won several national-level design competitions in colleges like IIT-Bombay, IIT-Madras, IIIT-DM, VIT-Vellore, and much more.

​What started as a 2 member team along with my batchmate officially, during the 4th semester of my undergrad, became a 36-member team by the time I graduated from NIT-Trichy.
Our designs have been featured several times in National newspapers namely the Times of India, Indian Express, and for presentations in The Home of President - Rashtrapati Bhavan, India. We received funding from our institute for all our activities and projects. The team is still active with over 100 students who have been part of the team. We have an efficient Truck Mountable Street Vacuum Cleaner designed and handed over to Trichy Municipal Corporation for usage.

Mechanical Engineering Association 2016-17

Led a team of 120 students, with 15 members in the core team, in conducting a National Level Technical Symposium, SYNERGY'17 in the month of march which had a footfall of over 1000 students from various colleges all over the country.

Workshops in different fields of mechanical engineering, guest lectures, and competitions were conducted for the participants. Moreover, we organized Industrial Visits for 400 students belonging to the Mechanical department of NIT-Trichy throughout the year to different industries.
